Hello there. My name is Angeline Murwisi. I am a Registered Social Worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers and the British Columbia Social Workers. I have a Masters Degree in Social Work (Clinical Specialization) from the University of Calgary
and a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and Equity Studies from the University of Toronto.
I have experience working with individual teenagers, adults, families and couples fromdiverse backgrounds which include minority and LGBTQ2S+.
Life is beautiful and so are you. Everyone deserves to enjoy life. However, none of us is
spared of life stressors regardless of our socioeconomic status.
I firmly believe that
despite the hardships and pain we have gone through in our childhood and adulthood
life there is hope at the end. This is possible with the right therapeutic relationship, supportive environment and appropriate therapeutic interventions. In addition, I also believe that every individual have a set of unique strengths and capabilities that enables one to bounce back from different life adversities. I view my clients as a whole person consisting of the emotional, physical, mental, spiritual and cultural aspect. My job is to
awaken, solidify and increase your strengths and skill set in order to address the
problem at hand.

Before devoting her career full time to Virtuous Circle Counselling, Tiffany has accomplished a rewarding 15-year career as a registered social worker. Year’s prior, Tiffany enjoyed 4 years as a summer camp counsellor, an experience Tiffany attributes to having ignited her passion for helping.
