Finding joy everyday is possible. I am a registered psychologist specializing in an open conversation between client and therapist. I hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Mount Royal University and went on to complete a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from City University of Seattle.

I have a deep understanding of the complexities of emotions and how they can take hold of our daily lives. I empower clients to untangle the barriers that prevent them from experiencing joy and fulfilment. I create a safe and supportive environment for individuals to explore emotions without judgement. I am passionate about supporting individuals to develop self-awareness and introspection as essential tools for personal growth and transformation.

At the core of sport and life should be joy. I am a high performance level para athlete and have enjoyed competing in many sports. I began my career by adapting sports to fit my unique situation as an athlete with a disability. At a young age I found sledge hockey which was amazing. I enjoyed many years as a player and goalie before moving on to wheelchair rugby. In both these sports I found the joy of teamwork and developed life long friendships. Ultimately, I thrive with an individual sport focusing on personal development and improvement. Para athletics fit the bill for me. It has a loose team environment and I was able to be fiercely competitive with myself. I was part of the Canadian National Team for Athletics and competed in seated shot put and seated javelin. I hold the Canadian record for seated javelin in my category. I have competed Internationally, won Canadian National Championships for several years, and competed at the Para Pan American Games in Lima Peru with Team Canada in 2019. I have a special interest in high performance sports athletes and strategies through therapy to support strong mental health for athletes at this level to perform to their fullest capacity and carry the joy with them. I have worked with various high level sports including baseball, hockey, diving, and track and field supporting athletes to achieve balance and being present in the moment.

With a genuine passion for helping others live fulfilling lives, I am committed to guiding individuals toward greater self-understanding, resilience, and emotional well being.
